Simon Lee CEO One-Hockey

Simon Lee

Simon is the founder and co-owner of ONE-HOCKEY. Having set the company up in early 2008 ONE-HOCKEY has been growing every year. Simon is the former assistant performance hockey coach at Durham University and now also runs successful sports retail shop ONE SPORTS WAREHOUSE.

Claire Dobison

Claire Dobison

Claire is the former England U18 Girls Assistant Coach, she worked with the girls during the 2013/2014 seasons in their preparations for the 5 nations tournament in 2014. Claire is also Head of Hockey at Northumbria University where she oversees 4 of the performance squads. She is currently player coach plays in the England Hockey Investec National Conference North League for Whitley Bay and Tynemouth where she was recently put in the INVESTEC ALL STAR 11 for the 13/14 season

Kwan Browne

Kwan Browne

Kwan has been a guest coach for ONE-HOCKEY on a number of occasions. Kwandwane ‘Kwan’ Browne a Trinidadian field hockey player. He has represented Trinidad and Tobago internationally at the Commonwealth Games, Pan American Games and Pan American Cup.

Kwan is currently the England U21 assistant coach for the men and has been influencial to the success of clubs Canterbury and Hamstead and Westminster.

Rhys Smith

Rhys Smith

Rhys Smith joined the ONE-HOCKEY Coaching Team in 2016.

Rhys is a current England and GB U21 player who has also played in the Euro Hockey League when at his former club. Rhys studies and plays at Durham University where is one of their key players, who was influential in the teams 18 wins from 18 games in the 2016/17 season.

Maddie Hinch

Maddie Hinch

Maddie is the current England GB Number 1 goalkeeper. When coaching for ONE-HOCKEY Maddie offer the players an insight into goalkeeping at the very highest level. Maddie is known around the world as one of the most agile players of her era. Having won a gold medal at the Rio Olympics Maddies knowledge and the part she played in the win has been well documented

Emily Maguire

Emily Maguire

Emily has has represented Scotland at Junior and Senior levels, competing in European championships, a Champion’s Challenge gaining a bronze medal and the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. In 2009 Emily moved down to Bisham Abbey to be a part of the Great Britain centralised program based there and subsequently competed at the 2012 Champion’s Trophy winning a silver medal, and the 2012 Olympic Games winning a bronze medal. Emily joins the ONE-HOCKEY coaching team as a guest coach in 2013. Emily is pictured here with her GB team mate Alex Danson

Laura Myers

Laura Myers

Laura is one of our fantastic GK specialist coaches.

She is currently the 1st team GK at Loughborough University, and has previously represented England at U21 level.

Darren Cheeseman GB Senior Player

Darren Cheesman

Darren is a current England and Great Britain senior player. Darren also plays for one of Englands top mens sides East Grinstead where he has competed a number of times in the EHL (Euro Hockey League), Darren also delivers talks to the players on what is required to reach your ultimate goal.

Holly Payne

Holly Payne

Holly is a current England and GB international in the preparation for the Rio 2016 Olympics. Holly also plays for Premier League club Leicester HC

Kirsty Mackay

Kirsty Mackay

Kirsty joined the ONE-HOCKEY coaching team as a guest coach in 2012 at our masterclasses in Leeds. Kirsty brings to the ONE-HOCKEY team a wealth of international knowledge and is currently part of the England and Great Britain training squad. Kirsty currently plays as 1st XI goalkeeper for Bowdon Hightown in the National Premier League
